The 16 October 2007 meeting is our annual open meeting, where basically our members and residents are updated, on issues the Association has been involved with since the AGM in April 2007.

At our September committee meeting it was decided, the topic that captured the most attention of residents as well as the business community, is without doubt the Main Road Upgrading.

We decided to approach Paul Booth, City Council Project Engineer, to present the latest update of the Main Road Upgrading.

Although, the Focus Group Meeting Held on the 5th Sept 07, which included Civic Associations, Ratepayers and Ward Councilors, and the Open Meeting held on 12th Sept.07, was well attended and informative, we feel that the residents will welcome a bit more info regarding the Upgrading Process, before work starts early next year.
